Terminal server for FactoryLogix

Here are the system requirements for terminal server installations of the FactoryLogix Production portal.

The client installation on the Terminal Server cannot have a stand-alone database and must be connected to a FactoryLogix application server on a different machine.
For more than 20 users, we recommend multiple servers.
Verify that the chosen operating system can make use of the machine's available memory.
Memory requirements
A minimum of 2 GB RAM is required for the operating system.
A minimum of 2 GB RAM is required for FactoryLogix Production on a Terminal Server.
A minimum of 64 MB of RAM per user is required for Remote Desktop Services.
Allocate 2 GB+ 64 MB +25% for overhead (about 2.5 GB of RAM per regular user), which assumes FactoryLogix Production, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. For example, if you have 20 users, you would need 2.5 GB * 20 + 2 GB for the OS (52 GB of total memory).
Storage requirements
We recommend that you use a separate Remote Desktop profile for each user.
Processing requirements
We recommend 1 core for every 5 users, rounded up. For example, if you have 20 users (20/5 = 4), you would have 4 cores. With hyper threading, 4 cores equal 8 logical processors.
