About the administrator role

ADMINISTRATOR

The default administrator role has access to all FactoryLogix servers, databases, users and groups, and can control every aspect of the FactoryLogix system.

Your FactoryLogix system may require several administrator roles, each with a different level of system access. You might require one or two "super" administrators who have full and complete access and can administer everything in the system. You might also choose to set up your system with additional "regular" administrator roles for specific areas of the system and/or manufacturing processes such as NPI, Logistics, or Production. How you set up administrator roles depends entirely on your manufacturing processes and preferences.

Important

The default administrator role has all FactoryLogix selectable permissions plus all System Configuration settings: Users and Roles, Settings/Global Settings, Licensing, Define Custom Fields, xLink Configuration, Integration Services, Barcode Shortcuts, and Indirect Time Tracking Codes. No other created role has access to these System Configuration settings.
