As a FactoryLogix administrator, your responsibilities include setting up the system and its users and granting the appropriate permissions to users and groups. Administrative features help you organize factory employees and managers into users and user groups and assign their rights and access to different areas of the FactoryLogix system. You may also be responsible for managing FactoryLogix licensing, data archiving, and integration services.

Administer my users and their permissions
A FactoryLogix administrator uses the NPI client application to create and manage users and user groups. The way your users and groups are structured depends on your factory, personnel, manufacturing processes, and administration best practices. Administrators create and manage roles and configure each role with specific permissions that allow access to different areas of the FactoryLogix system. There are many individual, customizable permissions available for users.
